Storytelling app Music Pro design

Posted on August 18, 2019 Written by 12editor1

In this article, I will tell you the story about the music app YouTube turns off the screen – the Music Pro that I and the team have done in the past time. After completing the TripX and KittyKrush projects with lofty goals, but things were not as expected, I and the team decided to return to the most basic and practical.

One thing is clear: “we can’t save the world with an empty stomach”, we need a new product to fill our team’s stomach. With the skills of the team, making the mobile app is what we do best. We decided “by what we do best”.

Based on these criteria, many ideas came and went, and finally the team agreed to choose to listen to music from YouTube to do. Many people use it to listen to music from Youtube, and they have a lot of users. We just need to do better than they are. So, to do better than them, we analyzed the pros and cons of music applications on the market and decided to do better at the following points:

Music itself is art, so enjoying music is enjoying art. And people cannot enjoy art with a bad look. Many apps with millions of downloads that UI like shit, Music Pro must have very nice UI.

Music Pro users must feel the best, the happiest possible. Video interrupt feature, only mp3 player to save data and battery. This is Music Pro’s exclusive feature not found on other apps and the team must have the optimal algorithms for this feature.

Now I will write about the UI / UX design process for Music Pro. You understand that I’m from dev, then make Product, UX design, now tinkle UI design, and I have innate artistic ability. It is these things that will influence your thinking and decision-making below.

Spotify app vibes Concept: Personalize the music experience with emoticons

Posted on August 11, 2019 Written by 12editor1

An interesting and creative concept of Spotify app helps you choose songs that are new and quick. Since the emergence of music streaming services, the basic user experience has not changed significantly. Spotify is still the only software that supports storing your favorite music and a list of built-in playlists.

The potential future of personalized experience – the song appears at the right time. This has never existed completely because the inadequacies in the music discovery journey have shifted to the focus on users. At the moment, Spotify’s music-centric personalization system is Daily Mix, which includes several new playlist compositions that you can love.

As you can see, Spotify groups songs into specific categories by category. The problem is, we don’t think too much when choosing songs. When I think of Bohemian Rhapsody, I don’t think of British Rock & Roll style in the 70s but think about the feeling it brings. Emotions that affect the choice of music are called vibes.

The nature of vibe often changes quickly because they are influenced by many factors, from time, place, friends to weather, daily events, memories and countless other factors. Spotify’s next activity trend may be to identify the listeners’ feelings by shifting the focus of the algorithm from music to users through analysis, selection selection, correlation of song properties, music playing props, emotional identification based on genres and evocative lyrics. Or simply they just need to ask to know.

Introducing the app to learn Japanese – Lingodeer

Posted on August 4, 2019 Written by 12editor1

For many people, especially those who are working, the time spent studying Japanese is not much. Therefore, learning Japanese through smartphone application becomes necessary. Today I will introduce to you a very good Japanese learning app called Lingodeer, which is quite useful and has many interesting features for those who are just beginning to learn.

For beginners to learn Japanese. In fact, you can learn both Chinese and Korean through Lingodeer, but we will focus on studying Japanese. With Lingodeer, you can complete the elementary level of Japanese. Lingodeer is like a combination of Duolingo and Memrise. Duolingo’s strength is in teaching grammar through Memrise-themed lessons, focusing more on teaching vocabulary, through a variety of integrated exercises.

In Lingodeer, lessons are designed for each type of vocabulary topic, starting from the most popular topics such as nationality, right / wrong speech, occupation, and gradual diversity in subsequent articles. For each of these topics, you will get the corresponding lessons.

After each appropriate number of lessons, you will have to pass a “pass” test to continue. This is also very convenient for those who have learned a little Japanese before when they want to skip the first lesson, they can always do this “test” to unlock the next lesson.

The first thing to say is that the image and sound of Lingodeer are very carefully invested. All voices within the app, from vocabulary to sentences and videos are pronounced by native speakers so learners will be able to learn standard Japanese pronunciation. In terms of images, the app is also designed in bright colors, with the mascot that the deer will always laugh, or cry with you.

The second strength of Lingodeer is a very complete explanation. At the beginning of each lesson there will always be a section similar to grammar explanations (study tips) and for me this is quite an important part. If you learn through the app Duolingo version on smartphones, you can see a very important part has been combated compared to the web version, that is the Tips and Notes section. With a thorough and complete grammar explanation, this is a huge plus for Lingodeer.
